ÂSiruthai will sizzle: Karthi

Karthi is all smiles to talk about ÂSiruthaiÂ, his Pongal release, as he believes firmly that the film will raise the bar for commercial movies. ÂIt will be on the lines of ÂDhool and ÂGhilliÂ, says the actor.
ÂFor the first time, I am playing a dual role. One is Rocket Raja, a small time pickpocket, while the other is Rathnavel Pandian, an honest police officer. The film will come with some surprises, he says.
Happy about sharing the screen space once again with Tamannah, his ÂPaiyaa co-star, the hot and happening actor says, ÂWe are comfortable with each other and she is a great colleague to work with.Â
On Santhanam, with whom he attempted comedy in ÂSiruthaiÂ, Karthi says, Âhis timing sense is amazing. Our scenes in the first half of the movie will sure tickle the funny bone of the audience. ÂSiruthai is directed by Siva and produced by Studio Green.
